BigFix recommends that the consumer edition of Google Chrome is uninstalled before installing the enterprise edition. Additionally, problems might occur when installing the enterprise edition of Google Chrome on a computer that already has the consumer edition present. Installing the enterprise edition of Google Chrome might not uninstall nor update the consumer edition. Important Note: This Fixlet will detect the existence of Google Chrome for both the consumer edition and the enterprise edition. The Fixlet will download the Enterprise version of Google Chrome from this page. Computers will report Relevant if there is any version of Google Chrome installed, even if the version is already up-to-date. This Fixlet attempts to update Google Chrome to the latest version available. Because of the dynamic nature of Google Chrome updates, this Fixlet does not validate the sha1 or sha256 hashes of the downloaded Google Chrome installer.
